About Me
I spent most of my professional career in Washington DC. My parents are from the Philippines, Norway, and Sweden. All of these countries I’ve visited. I have two sons and live with my wife in Virginia. I enjoy cycling both on my carbon fiber road bike and my motorcycle. My dream is to one day run my own technology company developing productivity solutions for small businesses.
My Approach
As an individual contributor, I’m comfortable working in both waterfall and agile frameworks. I perform at my peak when in a collaborative environment supported by a culture that values process automation, standardizing procedures, and continuous improvement. When serving in a lead role, I prefer to use a democratic leadership style as I’ve found this yields the most informed decisions while empowering team members.
I have a passion to designing creative solutions which delight users, excite developers, and deliver meaningful outcomes.
